Professional Services Fee Inclusions

This option is only available to families who have requested either a Coffin Repatriation or Cremation & Urn Repatriation. Repatriation Solutions' professional services fee covers the organisation and coordination of a funeral service in Melbourne, Victoria, at a venue of your choice (regional Victorian options available for an additional fee to cover transportation). This fee includes:

·       A detailed conference with an experienced funeral director at your home or any other mutually agreed upon location within the Greater Melbourne area (usually simultaneous to repatriation arrangement conference).

·      Provision of two experienced staff in attendance on the day of the service (additional staff available if required for a fee).

·       Provision of a hearse, chapel trolley and other required equipment on the day of the service.

·      Booking and coordinating with external stakeholders such as venues, clergy, celebrants, florists, caterers, audio visual contractors, newspapers, musicians, chauffer companies, etc. (Costs for these items will be added to our invoice separately).

The cost of items marked "$ At Cost" will be invoiced at the same amount Repatriation Solutions paid for the product or service on your behalf plus any reasonable expense incurred in obtaining the product or service. This is not an exhaustive list of all products or services we are able to obtain on your behalf. If there is something you would like that is not on this list please call us to discuss your options.

  • Professional Services Fee - $1,870

  • Venue Hire - $ At Cost

    Your selected location, whether a Church, Chapel or other suitable venue will likely charge for the use of their facilities

  • Officiant - $ At Cost

    The person leading the service will require payment or a donation. As an indication, on average, celebrants charge $660 

  • Floral Tribute - $At Cost

    You may choose from a wide variety of seasonally available floral tributes to adorn the coffin ranging from $100 to $700 

  • Photographic Slideshow - $At Cost

    Some families choose to have a photo slideshow during the service. Usually this is comprised of between 30-60 photos and 1-2 pieces of music, although they can vary in length, and therefore cost.

  • Catering - $ At Cost

    Many service venues offer catering options or are near catering venues. We will coordinate bookings, however we request families pay for their catering directly to the supplier.

  • Limo / Coach Hire - $ At Cost (if required)

    Families may choose to hire a coach or limousine with a driver to chauffer them to and from the service. Generally they charge at a four hour minimum.

  • Newspaper Notices - $ At Cost

    Although less common these days, we are able to help you write and publish newspaper notices if that is your preference.
